Thank you Everyone

Thank you to all those who took time out of their lives to register and vote for my friend Cara! She made it to the final round of the Scrapping Safari competition at Gingerscraps.net. Now she must battle it out with 8 other ladies for the final spot. Whatever happens at least she has a chance.. unlike me who was voted off by an evil alliance! Guess they didn't want to go one on one with me *evil grin*

thank you again! If you ever need someone to have your back, just come find me!

digi dare ya!

hey have you heard about digi dara ya? http://www.digidares.com/ Well I just found out about them, and their challenges are really awesome!

this week's challenge is to create a chart/graph or something to show how your life is divided.

"Dare Flares:
*The main design of the layout should be in the form of or based around a graph or a chart. It doesn’t *have* to be a pie chart or a bar graph… feel free to be creative here. As long as it’s something visual that clearly shows the different areas of your life.

*Each “section” of your life should contain a title (to show what that section represents).

*Each section must also be distinctive and able to stand alone. Have each section vary in size, shape, or color… use a form of measurement or number… or even images and text. Again… feel free to be creative here!

*Photos are not a must but if you choose to use them, personal and/or stock photos are acceptable.

Make it as clean and graphic as you like, or as layered and jumbled as you like. You can make it all deep and serious, or exaggerated and funny. Just make sure each area can be recognized. And as always, have FUN with it and be expressive!!! I can’t wait to see what you create!"

It seems like a prefect challenge for me because I feel like I'm being pulled into different directions. Check it out for yourself.

Don't be a FOOL - back up your work!

I didn't remind everyone last month, so if you are waiting for my reminders you now have 2 months of work to back up!

Last year one of the designers at Scrap Matters lost her EHD and paid thousands of dollars to get it fixed to get her files.

So don't be a fool, back up your work then back up your back up! That's right, you should have THREE redundant systems.

So if you save everything on your computer's hard drive, that's 1. if you save to CDs or an EHD that's 2. check out http://mozy.com/ - no I don't get any special kick back for tell you about them, I just think it's a great idea.

And check out Delicious to back up your bookmarks on your browser. You sign up for FREE and you can import all your current bookmarks.

This has been a public service announcement.
